WARRANTY

WE CANNOT SCHEDULE WORK UNTIL YOUR PARTS ARRIVE

Once parts arrive to the shop, we will contact you to schedule a date to drop off your vehicle to begin the work. We do not have a lot of parking availability at our shop so we cannot have you drop your vehicle off until the job is ready to complete.

WE RECYCLE OLD/USED PARTS

If you would like to keep your old parts that have been removed, please let us know prior to the completion of your vehicle so we can send those home with you. This also includes wheels/tires, so if you are wanting to keep your old wheels/tires, please make sure you have a way to take them with you when you pick up your vehicle!

DISCOUNTS

We do offer a 10% military discount to those who have put their life on the line to protect our country, a valid ID will be required for this discount to be applied.

PARTS DEPOSITS

A deposit for parts will be required so that we can order what is needed to complete your job. Our invoices do break down the cost of parts/labor and we will let you know what the amount of your deposit will be ahead of time. Once your parts deposit is received, we will order the necessary parts and will reach out with you once they arrive to schedule a date to drop off your vehicle. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, if you are unable to proceed with the job that the parts were ordered for, you may come pick up your parts from us if they have arrived. There is also no returns/refunds on special order items or electrical parts.

VEHICLE SAFETY COMPLIANCE 

We are not responsible for any modifications that you request to be done to your vehicle that could potentially cause a failure of Virginia state inspection or any other state inspection. If you approve of the estimate that you are provided, you are accepting FULL responsibility to comply with all of your local, state and federal laws regarding vehicle safety. There are many headlights, taillights, marker lights and accessories that are not DOT/SAE compliant and it is your responsibility to make sure the parts you are asking us to install are compliant. *If you do not request a specific type of light/accessory, we will only install DOT/SAE compliant parts.

VEHICLE PICK-UP

Invoices must be paid in full prior to picking up your vehicle. If for whatever reason you are unable to pay your invoice in full, the vehicle will remain on the property as collateral until your invoice is paid in full. NO EXCEPTIONS.

CUSTOMER SUPPLIED PARTS

There will be no warranties on ANY customer supplied parts; NEW or USED. Any warranty would be to the original purchaser and is not transferrable to another party, therefore we cannot warranty customer supplied parts. * If we do make an exception to install your customer supplied parts, there will not be any warranty offered from Valley Gearing and Automotive. Any warranty issues would have to be taken care of with the manufacturer directly.

PARTS DELAYS

We are not responsible for any delays for your parts to arrive at the shop whether that be from unavailability or delivery delays.

DAMAGES

We are not responsible for loss/damage to your vehicle while on the property, including but not limited to; fire, theft, or any other cause(s) beyond our control.

Valley Gearing and Automotive will warranty any parts that we supplied if it is within the manufacturer warranty period (typically 1 year warranty from manufacturers) OR if part is defective within that time frame. Labor rates would still apply for part to be replaced but you will not be charged for the warrantied part.
